Re: Thanks for the memories, Sam!
I always like Big Sam. Too bad we let Pat go, they were a nice tandem. I would hate to see them team again in Minnesota.

Originally posted by Mikey82I think the problem was after Pat Williams got cut, Gray tried to put Sam Adams as his replacement and have him be the plug in the middle. That's not his specialty. Adams is a pass rusher first and run stopper second. You gotta let him roam. Too bad that Jerry Gray was a cocky coordinator that didn't know how to use his players right.

Sam knew that he was being used wrong. He knew that he wasnt a run stuffer and more of a pass rusher. They just wouldnt listen to him.

Re: Thanks for the memories, Sam!
You never improve your team by cutting a Sam Adams. I have faith the Bills know what they are doing because the DT position is void of front line talent at this moment. Anderson is a good rotation guy who went from looking bad to improving as the year went on.
Yet Edwards,Bannon and Sape are nothing more than camp fodder, IMO. Heck, even Jason Jefferson looked better than those 3, when given a chance to play towards the end of the year.
In Marv I trust but we definitely need 2 DT's this off-season.Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit
