Why would a team trade for Bryson if they can just sign Anderson and not give up anything. Then again, the Saints were also interested in Jeff George and their old GM gave up Willie Roaf for a fourth round pick.

But Bryson doesn't have Anderson's history of success. Anderson looked pretty good early last season before going down.
