It isn't happening unless Buffalo releases him or trades his rights.

Whatever is better for us works for me. We can only hope he wants to and can convince some team to get us some value, versus the none we have for him right now.

One of the things he said when he came here was.."I'm here to win". I'm sure he got the song and dance from McBeane.

After the Watkins and Darby trades, he knew he was fed a line, adn thought, "this isn't what I signed on for"

He tried to bow out gracefully rather than saying "They're in tank mode". The mother Teresa excuse might have been much, but it is what it is.

I can definitely understand him wanting to get out of the situation ASAP. Especially when Beanie Boy used him as the poster boy of the "We're not tanking!" excuse.

If this ends up being true then his retirement charade was a chicken **** move.

Should tell you something, that the guy would rather retire and try to end racism then try to get the Bills the the playoffs.
