I could see Fitz signing a 2yr/$6M contract.

No rookie QB will be ready to start 2011.... Fitz is the starter. Doesn't mean we shouldn't look for one to groom.

Good draft to trade back in because of the depth on the D available and the probability that many more underclassmen declare since this will be the last year without a rookie salary cap.

more picks in this draft would be a good thing IMO

That's a lot low, not likely. I would say it would be around 6-7 million a year.

          You're ****tin' me right?

Who in the hell would offer Ryan Fitzpatrick a 2yr/$14M deal? That is absolutely absurd!!!

Not so much anymore. David Garrard is getting $10 million per year. 7 million would only be 35% of what the top QB's are getting. I'd say for an average starter, 7 million is just about right.

OK, you are entitled to your opinion. Franchise tag figure for QB's in 2011 is 20 mm, 7 mm is not a lot for a QB. Fitz' contract situation becomes really interesting if we draft a QB in Rd 1 or 2.

even if buffalo drafts a qb at 3, fitz will start this year

You want to know what Fitz is worth? Release him and see how many teams bid for him. Then be prepared for every sports writer to say how stupid the Bills are.
