All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Again, know wth you are talking about before you post something like this.....the dude posted 29.5 sacks while clean from roids and posted 17 of those in a 14 game season.
You have to wonder what type of long term damage the steroids have done to Merriman's body as he just has not been able to stay healthy and productive since 2007.
yo if u dont like what i post then shut the F*** up and go about ur bizness..u r mad annoying with ur koolaid drinkin homerism...where eva i post u track it down and say sum stupid **** that has nothing to do with the original thread...like my grammar or suttin else..learn to shut the F*** up for once or prove me wrong..get offf DEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ NUTZZZZ!!!!
a lot of you guys are wrong about his status. Once he's released, he does NOT go on waivers, so the Bills can't claim him if they wanted to. He'll immediately become a UFA and can sign anywhere.
From the NFL rulebook:
"a) Whenever a player who has finished the season in which his fourth year of credited service has been earned under the Bert Bell/Pete Rozelle Plan is placed on waivers between February 1 and the trading deadline, his contract will be considered terminated and the player will be completely free at any time thereafter to negotiate and sign a Player Contract with any Club, and any Club shall be completely free to negotiate and sign a Player Contract with such player"
So, he won't be a Bill. I highly doubt Buffalo would want him anyway, and I doubt even further he'd come here.
I live in San Diego. Merriman sucks - basically invisible since his injury and he's a distraction in the locker room. Keith Ellison is a superior player at this point in time - make of that what you will.
a lot of people keep saying he's done. that's bull****. many people said that about spikes after his achilles injury. he is out in san fran and he looked really good sunday night. to say merriman is done is complete horse****.

you cannot be that thick to not know why i brought up spikes.....i already explained why he was brought up. i guess i say it again....both are linebackers, both had similar injuries, and both are not, were not, done.

They did not have similar injuries. The injuries are completely different.
And they are both LBs but are completely different LBs.
