All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Bills offered Peters 9.5 mil they said on total access....
Re: Bills offered Peters 9.5 mil they said on total access....
The Bills have been nothing but good to him giving him a chance after he was not drafted and gave him a new deal when he deserved it. The Bills once again are acting in good faith by trying to pay him what he deserves but Peters is screwing the Bills over by asking for more than what he is worth with no regard of how good they have treated him over the years.
The Bills could screw him over and make him play at his current contract and even if he went elsewhere at the end of his contract he would never make up that money that if he signed the extension to a very fair offer by the Bills. If he tanks his play like last season because he did not agree to an extension his teammates will turn against him and he will also hurt his value. Peters really does not have a leg to stand on right now.
Re: Bills offered Peters 9.5 mil they said on total access....
First off, I highly doubt that Peters and his agent are turning down 9.75 million a year.
Second for all of those who think we are getting a high first round pick, think again. Heard twice on Sirrius that teams aren't that interested in giving a first because of the amount of money it's going to cost just to sign him. His cost his actually working against his trade value and teams know this.
So we might be looking at multilple picks like 2 numbers two's, etc, etc.
Those who think a trade is the answer haven't thought this through.
