All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I'll take a 6'5, 4.4 forty, freak of nature in the 2nd round any day. Plus, it's not like Hardy is all hype when he produced big time at the collegiate level. What's not to like?
wikipedia as a legit source? Anyone can edit that, so it is hardly reliable. Go check the draft histories from nfl.com
Wikipedia is pretty accurate even though just about anyone can edit it. And when someone sees a mistake, it is corrected or at least gets a tag at the top of the screen saying that this article is in dispute. Usually only happens though when talking about whether or not Jesus really walked on water and turned water into wine, etc...
It wasn't the first draft ever, it happened back in the early 80s I believe, they mentioned it on ESPN after the draft. i think they mean it's the first time since the MODERN draft (7 rounds) that it's happened, which is true. but either way, it is quite a feat...you have to wonder why...here's hoping that Hardy isn't a bum.
from an AP story today ....
And not all of Hardy's touchdowns came with him merely out-jumping opponents in the end zone.
As he showed during his first day of practice, Hardy has good hands to catch the ball over the middle and is able to bend down and reach back for passes on quick outs along the sideline as well.
